Did everyone have a great Canada Day yesterday? What did you do? Our plan was to have a BBQ for two, just me and my husband. Essentially we wanted to make sure our barbecue worked before inviting anyone over for a summer barbecue. So yesterday was our test day.

I also had a friend come over. Not just any friend, but my favourite chickadee ever. Anyways, she came over and we hit up the movies. Of course we saw Eclipse. If you haven’t seen it yet, GO! It’s a must for sure.

After the movie, she dropped me off for my barbecue with my husband. Don’t worry, we won’t being rude, she’s a vegetarian and was not in the least interested in our hamburger night. She was happy to come back after dinner.

So now the girls watched some Glee and some So You Think You Can Dance, and talked about our new boyfriends (the newest editions to the top 5 list, which I will post next week). So while we were watching result night for the dance show, I asked my friend if she watched the dances the night before. She said she hadn’t.

This is when I had to show her the famous Twitch and Alex Wong routine. It was so awesome I had it on my desktop already from watching it so many times earlier that day.

For those of you who don’t know, Twitch is an “all-star” hip-hop dancer, and Alex Wong is the one competing. He’s a ballet dancer and as we see in the beginning of the clip, he’s really not comfortable with hip-hop. This clip shows the pre-show, the dance, and the judges’ comments. If you just want to see the dance, fast forward to about 1:05.

This routine got the loudest screams ever, just watching the playbacks at the end of the night you can hear the difference between this dance, and all the others. This is a winner, hands down!
