Here’s a commercial I’m sure we’ve all seen enough times:

The first thing I thought when I saw it was “don’t you hate those phone calls and automated messaging systems that never route your call properly?”

Then I laughed because that ram attack is classic. Laughed a second time, because yes – it happens twice. It’s comedic gold and Lord knows how many times I’ve wanted to head butt people in the gut. I’m sure it would be satisfying.

Finally, I found myself thinking why the heck did they “leave the ram” ? That left me sitting slightly unsatisfied. At no point did I say “hey, I should get some Stride.”

But you know what? Perhaps I will. Maybe it will come with a discount on a good ram.

Have you ever come across a commercial on TV that you can’t get out of your head? You know, the one where as soon as you hear the first three seconds you scramble around looking for the remote to change the channel but by the time you’ve found it, it’s too late, the commerical is over and you’re singing some horrible jingle for the next 6 hours?

That was this one for me. Except now when it comes on, I smile and dance that silly routine or make up my own.

I don’t understand the costumes really. The “chocolate” has random balls placed sporatically on the body and the “caramel” has camel toe. Gross. I’m pretty sure I’ll never eat a Caramilk bar again but I still laugh at the ugly lady when she puffs out her cheeks.

So would you say this ad worked? Or was it a failure, like so many others?

So the other day I was watching TV when I came across this informercial.




Are you serious? I turned to my husband to ask if we were watching the comedy channel. Is this some sort of joke? Unfortunately, it is not. This is a real product. For real. SAY WHAT?!

This ad is much more appropriate and expressed my sentiments exactly.
