Merry Christmas to all that celebrate. Happy holidays for those that don’t.

Here are a few of my favourite Christmas songs in no particular order. It’s some great background music and should keep you going most of the day. I hope everyone has a white Christmas… unless you live in Australia or New Zealand, in which case – Surf’s up!

There are only 3 days left before Christmas, are you still struggling to find that perfect gift?

Adopt a pet and give an animal a home for Christmas.

Contact your local SPCA to adopt or donate.

The idea is to give an animal a FOREVER home, not just for the holidays. So unless you are adopting a pet for your spouse or child, I recommend donating instead. January is the worst month for these shelters because they get so many returns.

If you are unsure about getting an animal for a friend or loved one, why not try the World Wildlife Fund? This is an excellent way to save an animal and give the gift of adoption without having to worry about allergies, pet food, shelter, etc.

When you adopt an endangered species, you get a certificate, a reusable bag, and a stuffed animal. My husband and I do this every year. It’s a great idea for children because they get a cuddly toy and you get to give back to the world.

My husband and I wanted to wish you a merry personal Christmas so we got together with The Bieb on a very sunny day (Danny forgot his shades and closed his eyes) and did a little dance. It was captured on film.

With 5 days left before Christmas and anticipation rising, I thought I’d give you some interactive fun.

Check out the snowman I made! If you want to make your own, click the snowman.

Here’s an annoying but fun snowglobe. Click and drag to shake the men up and watch them have to rebuild their snow society. Well first click the snowglobe which brings you to the appropriate site and scroll down about half the page.

For the 5th Christmas countdown post, I bring you the advent calendar. As a child this was one of my favourite things about December. Finding the date and eating the chocolate everyday is fantastic, but as more and more windows open, you know it’s getting that much closer to Christmas.

Forget the “as a child” part, I’m going to go buy one right now!

Word of the Day – Kringle

According to Wikipedia, Kringle “is a Scandinavian pastry, a Nordic variety of pretzel, which arrived with Roman Catholic monks in the 13th century, especially in Denmark. It developed further into several kinds of sweet, salty or filled pastries.”

But that wasn’t Christmasy enough for me, so I wikipedia’d Kris Kringle and this came up:
