Anyways, it’s a public forum as far as viewing goes, which means as long as you can access the Internet, you can probably read posts in the community, you are just unable to add your own until you become a member.

Because of this “public viewing” the site is moderated so that no profanity is allowed. Of course there are exceptions.

Today I had a conversation with someone about a “hen party.” For those of you who don’t know, a hen party is a ladies-only party. But there was a guy at said party. So it became a “hen party plus one cock.”

Here’s a snippet of the conversation:

WT: Well… I didn’t think he’d appreciate being called a hen… or a kock for that matter… rooster?

OMG… the system wouldn’t let me post the alternate word for rooster, as you can see by my use of the zero instead of an “O”… this is just ridiculous… in an effort to make it impossible for anyone to ever harass or offend another member (which is a noble idea) they’ve made it impossible to use the English language appropriately… That just sucks rooster!

Geeze… they wouldn’t even let me use a zero instead (hence the ‘kock’ with a ‘k’)… now that REALLY sucks caulk!

Me: wow I can’t believe they wouldn’t let you put a zero instead

but I like your use of both rooster and caulk… you know my hubby and I had to get some caulk to fill in some cracks in the cement. of course we had lengthy conversations about caulk and how to use caulk appropriately, and the end result leads to sealed cracks…

I asked my mom if she had any caulk
figured I’d borrow her caulk instead of purchasing my own caulk.

LOL! I can’t tell you how much I loved those conversations… my hubby threatened me with the lubricating device and I told him to “get the caulk out of here!”
