This one is quite enjoyable.

It’s full of facts and beautiful pictures, it includes a free poster, and it’s very well put together. It’s the history, present, and future of Rob Pattinson but in bite-size doses.

There are a few grammar errors and typos but if you can get passed those you’re good to go.

If you’re looking for a book with great photos of Rob Pattinson then this is the book. If you are only looking for the facts and the full length story, I’d recommend the Album. The Album has more information and it’s full of pictures as well, the pictures just aren’t as nice.

True Love Never Dies is beautiful from cover to cover. The inside cover is lined with nice rose paper, and even pages that are just writing and no pictures, are on nice paper as well.

Overall I’d give this a 9/10 – most bang for your buck!

Except it’s not good.

It’s written in the style of TigerBeat Magazine, pictures are mediocre, and it’s less than 50 pages.

I can’t emphasize enough how disappointed I am with this ‘book’. The overuse of the exclamation point and question mark is appauling.

It reminds me of being in kindergarten and having stories read to the class. The teacher is so enthusiastic while reading that the entire class is enthralled.

Except I’m not in kindergarten… Not even close. And I’m pretty sure parents aren’t going to read this book to their small children as a bedtime story, so what is the purpose?

I didn’t learn anything new. It really felt that this was a project for a high school student. Something they handed into their English teacher. It probably received an A, but that doesn’t mean it should have been published.

I bet the ‘author’ researched published articles in magazines and other biographies, took some clippings and quotes, and cut and paste some pretty pictures into this small (not even worthy of the label) ‘magazine’. I highly doubt Robert Pattinson had any knowledge of this, as there doesn’t seem to be any interviews. Just silly trivia such as “Question: What is Robert’s favourite music? Answer: Everything” … How informative.

It starts with him in his childhood and mentions his life at school, his parents, and his two sisters.

It briefly discusses how Rob made his career choices and all of the different films that he has made.

It talks about his role models and his friends and all the important, influential people that have made him who he is today.

I’ve learned a bit of his background and plenty about his character. He seems very laid back and humbled by everything. Rob is also very smart, he makes decisions based on his wants and needs and not about what will make him more money and more fame.

He wants to be challenged and thus chooses roles that will require studying and practice. He never wanted to be the guy who was type cast into the ‘high school’ boy.

And of course the book is filled with beautiful pictures and wonderful quotes.

The most interesting thing that I learned was his outlook on his music ‘career’ and how he feels about the music industry. I also learned that he needed braces to fill the role of Edward Cullen, the perfect vampire, even though his teeth were pretty decent prior to.

I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to get to know Robert Pattinson better, or just enjoys staring at his gorgeous eyes!
