LEB’s Forwards Vol 9

Bringing it back today!

I know there has been a delay in posts, but I’ve been working hardcore on my second book. The deadline was pushed forward by over a month so now it’s a race against the clock. Bare with me folks!

Here is some twisted art, brought to you by LEB.

Adele

We’ve all heard Adele‘s song Rolling in the Deep. And if you haven’t, click here. It’s also in the movie “I am Number Four” which I still haven’t seen, but I’ve heard good things.

It’s a great song, however, that’s not what I’m posting. Here she is on Ellen. Beautiful song. I cried. She’s my favorite new artist.

My Book – The Cast

I’ve been taking some time off to write. I finished a book and am quite proud. I’ve passed it out to a few people and those that have read it have given some good feedback.

My cousin had it bound for me and I can’t thank her enough. There are a few typos and probably more grammatical errors than I can count, but it’s my first book, edited only by me, and I feel like that’s a huge accomplishment.

It’s about a teenage girl named Maxine, she’s socially awkward and has many things to overcome. With the help of her older brother Nate, and his best friend, Drew, she starts to see the world in a new light.

I don’t want to give away any more, I’m not trying to sell the story. I just wanted to give an outline. It’s a teenage romance about a bunch of kids in high school. If the book was a movie, and here’s hoping that one day it might be, these are the people I would cast.

Sofia Vassilieva as Max Cole

Mark Salling as Nate Cole

Chord Overstreet as Drew Adams

Emma Watson as Sarah Thompson

Ashley Greene as Shannon Thompson

Jessica Stroup as Jillian Andrews

Alex Meraz as the Sanders twins

Jake and Jenny are not as big of characters but they are mentioned so I thought I’d cast them as well.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens

The Sanders twins have a younger brother called Steve, who is mentioned only once in the first book but plays a part in the second book.

Bronson Pelletier as Steve Sanders

And finally, Tracy. She’s not even introduced until the second book and will become even more important in the third book.

Emma Stone as Tracy

It’s hard to find people to portray teenagers and with the amount of hook-ups in the book I didn’t want to cast a 30 year old actor to hook up with a 16 year old actress, so I tried to keep them all relatively close in age.

As a side note, Nate and Drew are best friends and they are the same age, height, weight, and build but they have very different facial features. Nate has dark hair and dark eyes and is intimidating to look at. Drew has blonde hair and blue eyes and is cute and charming. This was another difficult thing to see and find, so here’s a picture of Chord Overstreet with Mark Salling. It proves my point that they are similar enough but exact opposites.

Another note about Max Cole, she’s small. She appears to be a lot younger than everyone but in actuality she’s only a year younger (than everyone except Jill and Steve). People see her as a kid. She looks nothing like her brother, Nate. That was why I liked Sofia Vassilieva. She looks young but she can also dress up enough that she looks more adult. She can pull off both. Just sayin’
