I was going to write a super awesome post about the “kids” book as told by Samuel L. Jackson, but after my night last night and the lack of sleep due to one sick toddler, one collicky infant, and one absent husband, I’ll just let the clip do the talking.

PS, Danny is absent for good reason – business trip in the states. Too bad the kids don’t understand that!

Welcome back me! I know I’ve been on hiatus for a LONG time but anyone who knows me, knows exactly why.

I’m lazy.

Oh and I’ve been busy, but mostly I’m just lazy.

I’m going to try (but not too hard) to come back to posting, because I know y’all have missed me. I’ve missed me.

I thought I’d keep things light for my segue back into the blog world. Yesterday I took the baby to see the Lorax. Great movie. Dr. Suess is a genius. The main character, is surprisingly not The Lorax, but The Once-Ler. Now, the Once-Ler is the bad guy I guess, but he turns out alright.

The Once-Ler reminded me of someone I know. Before I get too far into that, the someone I know is not actually a bad guy, but the resemblance otherwise is uncanny.

But this was just Javier Colon’s audition. I hope he doesn’t turn out like Andrew Garcia from American Idol. I loved him early on, and to this day, I still think he’s good… but he kind of plateau’d on AI. Here was his best performance.

Then the Xfactor 2009 Best Audition Ever goes to Danyl Johnson, click here to see. With a voice and an audition like that, how did he lose? I don’t know the answer, I don’t watch that show now, nor did I in 2009.

I’m a fan of Jessie J and her songs, but I recently heard her live and was disappointed with her performance of Price Tag. So I told anyone who would listen that she was terrible live.

My husband wanted to hear how bad she was so he checked out the performance I was referring to on Youtube. He told me he was expecting it to be worse given how upset I was about it. So I listened again. I changed my mind. She can sing live, I just didn’t care for her adaptation of the song. I thought she drifted too far from the original and got a little too happy on the runs.

But, I will take back what I said about her not being able to sing live. This girl is amazing, no doubt.

As a side note, I’d been watching a lot of Step Up 3 because it’s awesome… and there’s this one song on the soundtrack that I absolutely loved but had no idea who sang it. I found out it was Jessie J and have been addicted to this song ever since.

Here is Jessie J singing “Who You Are” live in a New York Subway station. Anyone who thinks she can’t sing, stuff it… This is undeniable talent.

My second book in the trilogy is done! I brought back a lot of the characters from the first book, and introduced some new ones as well. Since I got a lot of requests for casting, I thought I”d cast this book as well. First off, I will introduce, the new Max Cole.

I really liked the girl I cast as Max before, but I got a lot of complaints.
Normally, I stick to my guns, but the truth is Max is sweet an innocent and has a young face. She appears younger than she is, and the girl I cast to play her is aging.
