I’m a fan of Jessie J and her songs, but I recently heard her live and was disappointed with her performance of Price Tag. So I told anyone who would listen that she was terrible live.
My husband wanted to hear how bad she was so he checked out the performance I was referring to on Youtube. He told me he was expecting it to be worse given how upset I was about it. So I listened again. I changed my mind. She can sing live, I just didn’t care for her adaptation of the song. I thought she drifted too far from the original and got a little too happy on the runs.
But, I will take back what I said about her not being able to sing live. This girl is amazing, no doubt.
As a side note, I’d been watching a lot of Step Up 3 because it’s awesome… and there’s this one song on the soundtrack that I absolutely loved but had no idea who sang it. I found out it was Jessie J and have been addicted to this song ever since.
