Rap, Please Explain

I don’t get it. I’m not sure what’s good and what isn’t. Rap is just not my scene. Here is Danny Brown’s rap, please tell me if it’s good. The video is garbage. But homemade is homemade, right? We all do what we can.

Judging the music itself, is it good?

Here’s a song that I like, but I think I like it for the background vocals by Hayley Williams of Paramore.

      HAHAHA clearly you haven’t read Dan Brown’s books. Just because one is
      called “The Da Vinci Code” does not mean it’s about an Italian painter.
      Basically, Dan Brown cashed in on the name Da Vinci
