I wanted to see Charlie St. Cloud in theatres but I just never got around to it. Plans kept getting changed, other movies came first, and the next thing you know it’s not in theatres anymore.
Here’s a trailer, for those who haven’t heard of it.
It’s Zac Efron, but he’s a little less High School Musical, and a little more MMM Biceps.
I do plan on seeing it when it’s on DVD. It looks like a good one, a real tearjerker.
A movie that I did have the opportunity to see in theatres was Going the Distance. The only trailer I’d seen for this movie prior to, was a 30 second clip that wasn’t very good. Based on that, I wasn’t going to see it. But my only other option was The Switch with Jennifer Aniston, and we all know how her movies flop.
I’m glad I went with my gut, because Going the Distance was extremely funny. I totally recommend it. Check out this trailer, which is a lot better then the ones seen on TV.
At the theatre, I saw a preview for Life as we Know it, which looks hysterical. This one I’ll definitely be seeing when it comes out in October.
