Though it may not be happy for some, this is definitely a day about remembering.
I choose to remember my grandfather. He was a good man, miserable in his old age, but always good for a laugh. He saw through lies and called people on their BS.
He always had a pocket full of change and was happy to share with all the grandchildren. I miss him.
What do you remember?

I guess I miss my dad's laugh. You would feel like laughing just by hearing him. And since he was a W.W.2 veteran this time of year always gets to me.
me too. It must be nice to have fond memories of your dad. I wouldn't know what that's like.
That's a shame when dads make sure they are remembered as problems instead of a father. Well I know in your case when you do have kids, you'll build found memories with them so they can remember their mom always in a good fashion.
