i've been in the habit of buying complete series before i start reading them. unless i'm not sure about the author, then i'll buy the first book just to test the waters – that's why i only have the first two of the Anna Strong series. If i like this book (i'm on book 2), i'll buy the next two

I have books here that i want to start reading the series but iI don't because there's always a new book from another series I already started that comes out. So what do I do…buy more books…lol

lol i've got a good system now, and i'm pretty good about finishing a book before i start the next oneso the series i'm slowly working my way through are Sookie Stackhouse, Anna Strong, Fred the Mermaid, the Fever series (by Karen M Moning), and the Night Huntress series.When those are done (or at least done as far as the books on my shelf go, i think i still have maybe 4 more books to purchase in all of those series, combined – not each, if that makes sense) my next batch of series will be Black Dagger Brotherhood, Kitty the werewolf, and the two Gena Showalter series (the Darkest, and the one with Vampire Bride – lol i don't even know what that one is about)Then I'll get into the LJ Smith books…. splitting it up with a few strays here and there and THEN i'll move onto the next bookshelfIsn't it ridiculous how many books i have sitting on one shelf? lol

HA! yep and i plan to get through them all. i'm trying to work my way through about ten series plus some strays (this is just one shelf on my book case). i figure if i keep them on rotation i won't get bored or disappointed by any series
