Blood Drive by Jeanne Stein

blood driveThis is the second book in the Anna Strong Vampire series. Anna is a new vampire and a bounty hunter. She finds out that she has a teenage niece who is in trouble and missing in action.

Connected to the mysterious disappearance is one of the teachers at Principal Strong’s (Anna’s mother) school. Anna learns through this suspected teacher (Mr. Frey) that vampires are not the only telepathic supernatural being on the planet.

Together, Mr. Frey and Anna help to locate her niece and keep her safe from what’s really happening.

Finding the culprit is harder than imagined when the only people with inside information are turning up dead.

Anna is left to her own devices and no one to trust. The thirst of a vampire becomes her strength and dictates her every move.

This book is a page-turner to say the least. I love the relationship between Mr. Frey and Anna Strong and I hope this continues throughout the novels to come.
