@ Cathy. You do what feels right for you, Cathy. People have a way of trying to say what’s best, especially at weddings.

As for age difference – my hubby and i have a huge gap between us as well. There is no age on love! There is also no harm in waiting. It doesn’t mean you’re less in love. The wedding is really for everyone else anyways. Do it when and how you want, and don’t let people push you around lol

WoW Jac star your site is awesome, I just bookmarked it, and i have that problem too with people asking me when me and my fiance are finally going to get to the “big day”, and they look at me like i am an alien for outer space when i tell them I am waiting, I love him, and Love being engaged to him, but i want to wait for the wedding, I am only 21, although i am sure i am going to spend the rest of my life with him, I am just not ready to have the wedding yet, I know that may sound horrible but its how i feal but he is very supportive with my decision to wait. There is an age difference between us, so they always make it sound like i better get married and to the baby making soon because of our age difference. Its insulting to me. Great blog though, Can’t wait to read more.
